Acceptable Use Policy

Members and applicants agree to use The Introduction House solely for the purpose of seeking genuine, respectful personal introductions. The following are not permitted: harassment, threats, or abusive behavior toward staff or other members; solicitation for commercial, sales, or promotional purposes; misrepresentation of identity, marital status, age, or intentions; and any attempt to circumvent our vetting or matching process.

Any conduct that compromises the safety, privacy, or comfort of another member or a staff member will result in immediate removal from the program without refund, and may be reported to appropriate authorities where warranted.

Zero-tolerance prohibited conduct. The following are strictly and absolutely prohibited on or in connection with The Introduction House, with no exceptions: child sexual abuse material (CSAM) and any content, communication, or conduct that sexualizes, exploits, or endangers a minor; sexual violence or non-consensual sexual conduct of any kind, including non-consensual sharing of intimate images; human trafficking or sex trafficking, or any act that facilitates, funds, or advertises either; submitting sexually explicit photographs, descriptions, or profile content as part of an application, consultation, or communication with staff or other members; and fraud or scams of any kind, including catfishing, identity misrepresentation for financial gain, or solicitation of money or gifts under false pretenses.

Violating any part of this section will result in immediate, permanent removal from The Introduction House without refund, forfeiture of any fees paid, and referral to law enforcement and, where applicable to suspected child exploitation, the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC). We do not make exceptions to this policy for any member, applicant, or match.

The Introduction House operates by application only and does not maintain a public office for walk-in visits. All correspondence is handled by email, with a response typically within two to three business days.

Pricing for Products & Services

Membership for women is currently complimentary, subject to acceptance through our application and vetting process. Membership for men is fee-based, with details and current tiers discussed individually during the private consultation, as pricing may vary based on the level of service and search involved.

We do not publish a fixed public price list, since every engagement is scoped to the member's specific search. Exact pricing, term length, and what is included are always confirmed in writing before any payment is collected.

Law Enforcement Protocols

The Introduction House cooperates with law enforcement in accordance with applicable law. We will respond to valid legal process, such as a subpoena, court order, or search warrant issued by a court or agency of competent jurisdiction, and will disclose only the information specified in that request.

Absent valid legal process, we do not share member information with third parties, including law enforcement, except where we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to prevent imminent harm to a member or another person, or as otherwise required by law. Where legally permitted, we will make reasonable efforts to notify the affected member of a request for their information.

Proactive reporting. Where we become aware of credible information indicating human trafficking, sexual exploitation, child sexual abuse material, or other serious criminal conduct connected to our services, we will report it to the appropriate authorities on our own initiative, even absent a subpoena or court order. This includes referral to local law enforcement, the FBI, and, for suspected child exploitation, the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) CyberTipline.

How to report a concern. If you believe you have witnessed, experienced, or have knowledge of human trafficking, sexual exploitation, abuse, or other criminal conduct connected to The Introduction House, please contact us immediately through our application form or Instagram so we can investigate and take action. If there is any risk of immediate harm, please contact local law enforcement (911 in the U.S.) directly. You can also reach the National Human Trafficking Hotline at 1-888-373-7888 (or text 233733), or report suspected child sexual exploitation to the NCMEC CyberTipline at CyberTipline.org or 1-800-843-5678.

Law enforcement inquiries. Law enforcement personnel seeking member records or information in connection with an investigation should submit a written request, along with applicable legal process, through our application form, marked for the attention of our compliance contact. We respond to legitimate requests promptly and will preserve relevant records upon receiving a valid preservation request.

Privacy Policy

Information we collect. When you apply and go through consultation, we collect information such as your name and contact details; demographic information and relationship preferences; photographs you provide; background information you share about your life, career, and relationship history; notes our matchmakers take during interviews and check-ins; and, for paid memberships, billing and payment information (processed by our payment provider — we do not store full card numbers ourselves). If a background check is part of your application, we also receive the results of that check from our screening vendor.

How we use it. We use this information to evaluate candidacy, conduct vetting and background screening, identify and arrange compatible introductions, communicate with you about your membership, process payment where applicable, and improve our matching process. We do not use your information for advertising or marketing to third parties.

Who we share it with. Your information is shared only with: the matchmaker(s) working on your search; a prospective match, in the limited, curated form necessary to arrange an introduction (never your full profile, contact details, or photos without your involvement in that step); our payment processor and background-check vendor, solely to perform those services on our behalf; and law enforcement or other parties where required by law or as described in our Law Enforcement Protocols. We do not sell member information to third parties, and we do not share it for any other party's independent marketing use.

Retention and security. We retain your information for as long as you are an active applicant or member, and for a limited period afterward to comply with legal, tax, and recordkeeping obligations or to resolve disputes. We apply reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect your information, and limit internal access to staff who need it to do their work.

Your rights. You may request a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct inaccurate information, or ask us to delete your information, at any time, by contacting us through our application form. We will honor deletion requests promptly, subject to any legal retention requirements or ongoing matters that require us to keep certain records.

Minors. Our services are intended solely for adults 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18, and any account or application found to belong to a minor will be terminated and the associated data deleted.

Changes to this policy. If we make material changes to how we handle your information, we will update this page and revise the effective date. Continued use of our services after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

Refund Policy

General policy. Because matchmaking involves significant personal time, vetting, and curation on our part from the outset — including screening, interviews, and search work that begins as soon as your membership is confirmed — fees are generally non-refundable once services have begun.

When a refund may apply. We will review your situation individually, and a refund or credit may be issued, in whole or in part, in circumstances such as: you were billed in error or charged twice for the same service; we are unable to begin your search within a reasonable time after payment due to a delay on our part; or your membership is terminated by us for a reason unrelated to your own conduct. Refunds are not issued for dissatisfaction with the outcome of an introduction, a decision not to continue after introductions have begun, or termination resulting from a violation of these policies.

How to request one. To request a refund review, contact us through our application form with your name, the date of payment, and the reason for your request. We will acknowledge your request within a few business days and provide a decision, typically within 10 business days of receiving all information we need to review it.

How refunds are issued. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method used, and are typically processed within 5–10 business days of approval, though your bank or card issuer may take additional time to post the funds. Any exceptions to this policy are made at our sole discretion and will be confirmed to you in writing.
